Polish corporate law

Polish corporate law is based mainly on the Act of September 15, 2000, Code of Commercial Companies (Kodeks Spółek Handlowych), which regulates the principles of the formation, operation, merger, division and transformation of commercial companies, including partnerships (general partnership, partnership, limited partnership and limited joint-stock partnership) and capital companies (limited liability company and joint-stock company). The scope of polish coporate law also covers, inter alia, the liability of partners, general partners, limited partners and members of company bodies for the obligations of the company.
